Location Situated on a spectacular hillside overlooking the shimmering coastline in the south of Tenerife, the Royal Garden Villas resort is convenient for the fishing village of La Caleta, renowned for its excellent restaurants. Also within easy reach are Fanabe and Adeje, with their own shopping and dining opportunities. Costa Adeje golf course is adjacent, and, a little further afield are the bright lights of Playa de las Americas. A hire car is recommended although not essential as taxis are plentiful and reasonable in price.
Relaxation There is an excellent main panoramic outdoor pool in addition to the private pools, with sunbeds, parasols and towels provided. Cocktail bar.
Sports/Games Reduced green fees at the Costa Adeje golf course. Squash court and gymnasium.
Dining High quality restaurant for breakfast and international dining.
Special Features Various water-based treatments and therapies are available at the Golden Pond Spa, including therapeutic showers and a toning pool. Beauty salon offering facial and body treatments.
For Children No special facilities but very welcome.
Accommodation Of the 28 villas, 12 have one bedroom, 12 two bedrooms and 4 three bedrooms. They accommodate up to two, four and six persons respectively, extra beds not being available. There are different categories (see individual descriptions) to reflect space and degree of luxury but all are of very high standard.
Common facilities are: air conditioning in each room, plasma screen satellite TV, music centre and DVD player, internet access, safe, well-stocked bar (charge) and direct dial telephone. Each bedroom has a luxury bathroom, mostly en suite, and at least one with a hydro-massage shower, hairdryer and bathrobes.
Duchess Villa
There are eleven Duchess Villas which have one bedroom and are on one level.
Majestic Villa
There are six of this type which have two bedrooms and are duplex style. The master bedroom is on the first floor, which is also the location of a second terrace and plunge pool.
Presidential Villa
The Presidential Villa is unique and nestles in the most private area of the resort. Superbly-well furnished, this one bedroom villa is also on one level.
Princess Villa
The six Princess Villas have two bedrooms and are also on one level.
Royal Villa
There are three Royal Villas, each with three bedrooms and duplex style. These have the added luxury of both open air shower and plunge pool on the upper terrace.
Imperial Villa
One only and the ultimate in luxury and individual style, this three bedroom villa also boasts an open air shower and plunge pool on the upper terrace.
