Overview The hotel welcomed its first guests in December 2004, and is now one of the leading 5 star hotels on the island. Location Sheraton La Caleta occupies a favourable site right on the ocean front in Costa Adeje, a short walk along the promenadefrom the nearest beach and shops. The centre of Playa de las Americas is about 5 kms away, easily reached by local bus.
Relaxation The extensive terrace contains three swimming pools and an outdoor jacuzzi, with sun-loungers and parasols and the Coral pool bar for refreshing drinks and snacks during the day. There are cool lounges inside, and La Glorieta lobby bar opens from afternoon until midnight serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Sports/Games Adventure mini-golf at hotel, watersports on the beach, and Costa Adeje golf nearby.
Dining An impressive choice of restaurants: the main El Parador for breakfast and dinner with buffet or à la carte selection and show cooking; the Japanese Kamakura opens for dinner 5 days a week, and features a Tepanyaki grill and Sushi bar; La Venta is the Spanish restaurant and tapas bar, offering fish and grill dishes, Canarian specialities, tapas and a good choice of wines accompanied by occasional live music. Vivace pool restaurant is for informal dining during the day with an international lunch and snacks menu, barbecue and pizza dishes, and themed dinner evenings.
