Playa Meloneras
Overview Set in a huge area of 56340 square metres, including a garden with a huge variety of subtropical and Canarian plants, the hotel’s style reflects the traditional local architecture with a façade covered with natural hewn stones. The imposing reception lobby is a replica of an ancient and traditional Gran Canarian church with two towers, bell tower and central dome.
Location The hotel is situated right on the coast, 800 metres away from the Maspalomas lighthouse, and just about 300 metres from the Meloneras beach. Nearby, there is a choice of cafés, restaurants and shops.The centre of Playa del Ingles is some 7 kms away and easily reached by local bus or taxi.
Relaxation The garden area with a huge variety of plants has five outdoor pools (3 of which can be heated), a children’s pool, three jacuzzis, sunbeds and parasols for taking it easy. The lounge bar is located in the central building, with a lobby bar in the entrance hall and at the central square guests will find the pub, and snack bar serving tea, coffee, ices and cakes. The internet café is available for surfing, and a poolside bar is open during the day.
Sports/Games Floodlit tennis court, games room, billiards, a putting green and special green fees at, and free transfer to, the Maspalomas golf course. Watersports are available in the vicinity.
Dining A choice of four restaurants: buffet-style for breakfast and dinner (main course served at table), a snack-café, an Italian a la carte restaurant in the central square, and a salad-grill bar in the pool area.
