Overview A very well established traditional hotel, this Riu Grand Palace was one of the first in the south of the island, hence its enviable location. Ongoing modernisation and refurbishment has ensured its success, along with comfort, good food and sophisticated entertainment.
Location Next to Maspalomas Beach, between the lighthouse and the dunes, which stretch for 6 kms. Adjacent to the hotel is a ‘parade’ of restaurants, which leads to the seafront promenade. It’s just a few minutes’ stroll along to the Meloneras Shopping Centre.
Relaxation A beautiful pool area and terraces equipped with sun beds and shades (courtesy towel service). The peaceful gardens, with direct access to the Maspalomas beach, extend to some 65,000 square metres with about 2000 palm trees and artificial lakes – ideal for quiet contemplation. Lounge/bar open in winter with a TV/video area and games area for bridge and chess.
Bars are: The Bar Foresta near the pool, the Bar Jardin Tropical where live entertainment is a feature of summer evenings, an elegant cocktail bar, the Dunas, and the Bar Salon, for dancing and regular shows.
Sports/Games Golf (complimentary service desk), putting green and “cage”, golf discounts at all courses on island, table tennis, volleyball court, multi-sports court. Charge for tennis courts (floodlit), paddle tennis,

Dining Extensive hot and cold buffet for breakfast or continental and à la carte service in your room. Light lunch dishes at the garden bar and snacks at Foresta. Dinner in the Restaurant Oasis combines an exceptional choice of buffet starters and desserts with show-cooking and table served main course. A la carte Le Jardin is known for its excellent cuisine, and offers fine dining without extra charge to half board and full board guests.
