OVERVIEW Designed to reflect the traditional architecture of the island, this unique resort comprises the hotel, the village square with shopping arcade and its numerous restaurants and bars. Porto Elounda also boasts its own private 9-hole golf course.
LOCATION Situated facing the Bay of Mirabello, the resort is some 2 kms from the picturesque fishing village of Elounda and 7 kms further away is the small town of Aghios Nikolaos, with many lively cafés and tavernas around the harbour.
RELAXATION Complimentary loungers and sunshades are provided at the Blue Flag awarded sand beach and around the freshwater pool. The Beach Bar serves refreshing drinks and snacks during the day.
SPORTS In abundance! There’s the private 9-hole par 3 golf course, two tennis courts, a fully-equipped gym and a fantastic Sea Sports centre, where all kinds of water sports can be arranged.
DINING An excellent choice includes the Nafsika for buffet breakfast and for the half board dinner, Odysseus for à la carte lunch, Elies offers both à la carte lunch and dinner and Playiada features regular theme evenings. There’s a Dine Around option from May to September. Outdoor restaurant operations are seasonal and subject to weather conditions.
