Overview Since its inauguration in 1972, La Manga Club has established itself not only as a holiday resort par excellence but has constantly added to, and improved, the outstanding sport and leisure facilities available to guests. At the heart of the resort is the 5 star Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipa, which is adjacent to two of the three championship golf courses. About 1.5 kms away, Las Lomas Village & Spa provides more informal, but still high quality, self-catering apartments, townhouses and serviced rooms. Add to this the impressive number of dining options within the resort, and you have a hard-to-beat combination for a family or group with mixed leisure interests.
N.B. There is complimentary minibus service in the resort, but car-hire is recommended to enjoy La Manga Club to the full.
Location The Costa Calida, the ‘warm coast’, is south of the Costa Blanca - La Manga Club is just south of the Mar Menor, the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe, separated from the Mediterranean by the strip of land called La Manga del Mar Menor. Spread over 1,400 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, the Club is some 27kms south-east of Murcia Airport (20 mins drive) and 120 kms south of Alicante Airport (55 mins drive). The more than 2,000 year old city of Cartagena is only 20 kms to the west.
Sports/Activities Golf: three championship courses, an 18-hole, par 47 Pitch and Putt Course, Academy of Golf with group or private tuition.
Tennis: floodlit Tennis Centre with 28 courts (20 clay, 4 hard and 4 artificial grass) and coaching is available. Squash court and two paddle tennis courts.
Football: Professional Football Centre with 8 grass, international standard pitches.
There is also a bowling green, climbing wall and crazy golf. Horse riding can be arranged and at the beaches on the Mediterranean and Mar Menor, water-sports of all kinds available. In all some 30 different activities are possible. Prices for participation, coaching and package ticket (Freedom of Choice programme) details available on request. Dining Guests are truly spoilt for choice since around the resort are more than 20 restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy a superb choice of international, local and national dining. Amongst the options are Mexican, Indian, Italian and Mediterranean themed restaurants as well as tapas and snack bars. The bars, including a new Piano Bar offering a wide selection of cocktails and tapas, are open into the small hours and you can enjoy live music and dancing. There is also a gaming casino. During the summer months, themed evenings for open-air dining are regular features and there are many options for enjoying lunch or dinner al fresco.
For Children A paradise for children (and their parents!) with plenty of activities to keep them happy and entertained. Included are swimming pools, crazy golf,
a play area and the dedicated JUnior CLub, near the Tennis Centre. During main school holidays, the pace is stepped-up. Junior Sports Academies are organised from Mondays to Fridays in golf, tennis, (including a Junior Pro Academy for competitive players), football, sport package (tennis and football) and rugby. Cricket and dance academies are held in summer only. Full details of dates, age groups and prices for each activity on request. Pre-booking is essential and subject to availability. Operation of courses is also subject to minimum numbers. All activities are run by fully qualified coaches.

As a result, for some periods certain advertised facilities may be out of action, including some holes or a complete golf course for a few days. We are always kept informed
