Location In lush, sub-tropical gardens 5 kms east of Marbella, on the Los Monteros estate, which is predominately occupied by private villas. The hotel itself is some 700 metres from the beach, where its La Cabane Beach Club is located, rated one of the best on the coast.
Relaxation The extensive gardens and terraces around the hotel pool are well-provided with complimentary sunbeds and towels, many trees offering shady spots. La Cabane Beach Club is open all year, and features another large swimming pool with king size sun-beds and towels for which a charge is made. There is a bar at La Cabane, and the Bar Azul at the hotel has a terrace by the pool. Inside, the hotel’s lounges and salons are tastefully furnished and very comfortable.
Sports/Games With concessions at a number of golf courses in the area, and tennis club, with gym, sauna and massage, the hotel offers excellent sports facilities. Water sports at the beach nearby (not managed by the hotel).
Dining The full Los Monteros Cava buffet breakfast is served in El Flamingo restaurant, with lunches available at the Bar Azul terrace in the hotel, and at La Cabane where a gourmet buffet is prepared as well as snacks and salads. A la carte dinner featuring a selection of Andalusian and international dishes is taken in the celebrated El Corzo restaurant.
Entertainments Live music in the Bar Azul, and a pianist in El Corzo six nights a week.
