Right on the beach at the southern end of the long promenade at Puerto del Carmen, the excellent Los Fariones is one of the best known hotels on the island. All its rooms face the sea, and the pool terrace with its shady palm trees is a lovely spot for quiet relaxation. Guests have discounted rates at the nearby Fariones Sports Centre which includes tennis and squash courts, as well as the latest exercise equipment. The hotel has an excellent reputation for service and welcomes many regular guests year after year.
The sister hotel to Los Fariones also enjoys a superb beachfront location, being adjacent to the main resort beach. Within a few minutes’ stroll of shops, cafés and restaurants, the hotel has a spacious sun terrace with 2 pools and a children’s pool facing the ocean. Accommodation consists of one bedroom suites, with a kitchenette and lounge/diner for up to 3 persons. The restaurant features show cooking and an extensive buffet spread. Regular live music in the evenings and frequent shows. Sports facilities include squash court and gym plus reduced fees at the Fariones Sports Centre.
The fabulous location on the beach between Puerto del Carmen and Los Pocillos gives the hotel a head start on most and its big sun terrace and pools overlooking the ocean add to its attraction. Attractive, low-rise 3 key one-bedroom apartments some 200 metres from the beach, mid-way between modern Puerto del Carmen and the old port area, renowned for its excellent restaurants. The apartments have a twin bedroom, a lounge/diner with a convertible sofa-bed, kitchenette, bathroom and terrace and provide accommodation for up to 3 persons. Breakfast is included here and half board can be arranged with dinner taken at the Fariones Playa.

A very well-managed and extremely well-appointed hotel, the Costa Calero opened in April 2004. A modern, spacious 4 star hotel, overlooking the marina at Puerto Calero, some 3 kms from Puerto del Carmen, to where a shuttle bus operates. Its peaceful location makes this a good spot in which to unwind, enjoying good quality dining. An All Inclusive option is available. Very much a self-contained hotel resort, there is a good range for sports and games, and sailing and diving can be arranged at the nearby harbour. Regular entertainments can be enjoyed and there are children’s clubs for different age groups up to 17 years.
Costa Teguise, 5 star GLx
Ten exclusive, luxurious villas in a secluded setting between the hotel and the beach, particularly recommended to honeymooners or holidaymakers who enjoy their privacy. Each consists of a spacious suite-style layout with four-poster bed and sitting/dining area. Outside, each has its own small plunge pool and garden area.
Also exclusive to the villas is a main pool and adjacent bar. Naturally, all the facilities of the hotel are available to guests. Additional services/amenities in the villas include 24 hour room valet service, kimonos and bathrobes, CD player & discs, sheet & pillow selection and daily high tea service at the Pool Club.

An extremely attractive hotel, adjacent to the Rubicon Marina in the sought-after resort of Playa Blanca. The village-like layout gives a feeling of space. Fresh and seawater pools are set in the gardens, surrounded by terraces. The centre of the resort can be reached via the beachfront path from the Marina in about 20 minutes or by reasonably priced taxi. Accommodation includes rooms, junior suites and suites. The Club Volcan adult only wing (min. age 18 years) offers privacy and numerous exclusive services.
Playa Blanca, 5 star L
A very family-friendly 5 star hotel including an outstanding children’s club, Kikoland, which operates three different age groups each with a dedicated team supervising. That apart, the impressive main hotel overlooks the beach. This houses the rooms, junior and one-bedroom suites. Family suites, with two bedrooms, are in a separate building one block back, accessed via an underground passageway from the main hotel. The main restaurant offers buffet-style meals with live cooking points and there are three speciality restaurants. Thalasso Health & Beauty centre. Live music in the evenings. Located mid-way between the resort centre and the Rubicon Marina, each about 10 minutes’ stroll away.

A well-regarded All Inclusive hotel, with an extensive range of guest facilities to cater for the more active holidaymaker. Located between Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches, the hotel is just about 1 km from the Rubicon Marina. The main building houses reception, restaurants, bars and shops. Rooms and junior suites are in separate wings dotted around the extensive grounds. Extensive sports facilities; miniclub, health and fitness centre and entertainments programmes for adults and children.

The low rise hotel comprises a main building housing reception and guest rooms in a number of wings dotted around the extensive grounds.
